Brielle by the Mexico booth
All of the girls from her troop
Friendship circleBrielle's brownie troop participated in an event called Thinking Day. Many troops from around the valley participated. Each troop picked a country and decorated a booth representing their chosen country, made a food, and picked a craft that the girls could make about their country. Then the girls got a cardboard suitcase, and play passport and went around the world visiting the different booths. Brielle's troop picked Mexico. The girls worked for weeks making paper flowers and decorating the sign for their booth. They made Mexican wedding cookies, and had masks for the girls from other troops to decorate when they visited their booth. The girls all had a lot of fun, making crafts and trying foods from other countries. Brielle's favorite parts were that she made a boomerang at the Australia booth that really works, and got another patch for her vest.
